Firestone UltraPly TPO SA with Secure Bond Technology is more than a heat weldable, flexible thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) membrane. Firestone UltraPly TPO SA is a self-adhering membrane with a revolutionary, factory-applied, pressure-sensitive adhesive that increases the number of square feet that can be installed in a day. UltraPly SA TPO Options
The benefits of this UltraPly TPO membrane don't stop there. Secure Bond Technology is compliant with all state VOC regulations. It's odorless and safe for roofing contractors, building occupants, and the environment.
Fully Adhered
In the Firestone UltraPly TPO Fully Adhered System, the TPO sheets are fully adhered directly to an acceptable substrate using contact adhesive. Adjoining sheets are overlapped at least 75 mm and heat-welded. Roof perimeters and penetrations are flashed in accordance with Firestone specifications.
Ballasted
In the Firestone UltraPly TPO Ballasted System, the TPO sheets are loosely laid over an acceptable substrate. Adjoining sheets are overlapped at least 75 mm and heat-welded. Roof perimeters and penetrations are flashed in accordance with Firestone specifications.
Mechanically Attached
The Firestone UltraPly TPO Mechanically Attached System uses sheets up to 3.05 m wide. The sheets are attached in the overlap using approved plates and fasteners placed approx. 50 mm from the inside panel edge. Panels are heat-welded using heat-welding equipment in line with Firestone specifications.
