Some heroes never seek recognition—they simply answer the call to serve. Ronnie Lowe is one of those heroes. During the Vietnam War, Ronnie served in the U.S. Army Security Agency, where his extraordinary talent for languages and codebreaking placed him in one of the military's most critical intelligence roles. After graduating at the top of his Vietnamese language program, he intercepted enemy communications, translated captured documents, broke enemy codes, and helped interrogate prisoners during the Tet Offensive. He later continued his service at the National Security Agency, where his skills remained invaluable. Throughout his life, Ronnie has remained the same humble, devoted, and selfless man, always putting his family, community, and country before himself. Through Roofs of Honor, we were proud to provide Ronnie with a brand-new roof as a small way of thanking him for his remarkable service and lifelong sacrifice. His story is a powerful reminder that true heroes often ask for nothing in return, yet deserve our deepest gratitude and recognition.
